Introduction
In this chapter we will be managing the fusion between the requirements of microcredentials as seen and promoted by the European Union and the regulations and requirements of ISO17024.
It is important for you that if you, as a VET provider, are considering to apply ISO17024 as a quality standard for your microcredentials offered, the regulations and requirements of ISO17024 must lead the way. ISO17024 is a rigid, well thought quality assurance models which needs to be either applied in full detail or not at all. ISO17024 does not allow any exemptions or flexibility while the concept of microcredentials is more adaptable.
