Convergence Strategy
The MC GREEN project pursues two main objectives that are essential for ensuring quality in the awarding of microcredentials within European vocational education and training (VET). Firstly, the project aligns the requirements of ISO17024 with European microcredential standards, creating a robust and quality-assured framework for recognition and certification. Secondly, MC GREEN develops and offers two innovative microcredentials in the green economy.
EQF Level 2, specifically designed for individuals without formal school-leaving qualifications who have gained substantial skills and competences through informal and work-based learning. Typically not covered by European VET systems.
EQF Level 5, aimed at higher VET professionals or graduates with technical or economic bachelor degrees, providing an additional internationally recognised credential within the green economy sector.
